There are a lot of changes in the team now and I am the only original left. The boss has gone home TourEx, as has the number two Pete Stowell. Number three, poor John Taylor was killed at Sylt, so that just leaves me.
The Lead is taken over by Bob Kendall, my Flight Commander. He replaced John and arrived from England at Sylt just as John had failed to return. So, they never met.
Tommy Gribble is the new number 2 and Bert Cann has slotted in at number 3.
We also have some fancy new display flying suits and orange silk scarves made from a Dutchman's parachute, who bailed out near Wunstorf. I've grown a moustache and am kneeling at the front.
